Teaching is becoming tougher and tougher in today’s digital age. Advent of technology and many other challenging scenarios have put teachers and educators to rethink on the whole pedagogy and newer teaching methodology while adopting new ideas and acquiring newer skill sets to stay relevant – keeping it in mind, Future Business School (FBS), on 21st of November organized a day long Faculty development Program – ‘Team task Management in a Challenging Environment’ in Sumantra Ghoshal auditorium at its Sonarpur campus.
More than forty professors of different colleges from all across Kolkata and west Bengal took much interest and joined the day long program taking a break from their regular schedule. The program was inaugurated by team FUTURE director Dr. Mousumi Ghosh, Prof. Shantanu Roy, the director, FBS and team FUTURE executive director Dr. Aloke Ghosh.
All participating teachers and educators were overwhelmed with the lecture sessions, out of the box ideas mingling with traditional ‘chalk and talk’ approach and also many unique hands on exercises that they received from Dr. Mousumi Ghosh, Prof. Shantanu Roy and Prof. Subrata Chatterjee, the principal of FBS. The program wrapped up with an interaction with Ms. Puja Roy Gangopadhya – Head, Corporate Communication; team FUTURE where she spoke about need of soft skills in education.
